Christmas at Lake of the Ozarks
From the start of the Christmas season the lake area offers a wonderful time of the year for everyone; as a resident and Lake Realtor, I get firsthand experience of all there is to see and do at the Lake.
Let me share with you how you can make the fabulous Lake of the Ozarks, your home too.
Not sure where you want to enjoy some holiday cheer? Here are a few festive ideas to give you a Reason for the Season..
Deck the Docks Dinner Cruise
From late November to New Year's Eve you can take a scenic dinner cruise aboard Celebration Cruises and tour the Lake to see boat docks and homes decked out in holiday lights. Proceeds from the dinner cruises benefit the Dogwood Animal Shelter. Early Ticket Purchases & Reservations are encouraged. Celebration Cruises is located in Osage Beach. St. Patrick’s Festival of Lights
The Festival of Lights at the Shrine of St. Patrick church located in Laurie is the oldest light park in the area. It was started in 1981 and has turned into one of the major places to see here at the Lake. Instead of animated displays, the focus is on the true meaning of Christmas.
St. Patrick Festival of Lights will be open daily from 6 – 10 p.m. from Thanksgiving through January 1st, 2016. There is no charge for this beautiful light display; it is simply their gift to the Lake community. For more information call 573.374.7855
